HR Clinic for Small to Medium Businesses

The Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand, in association with McKone Consultancy Ltd are proud to bring a new initiative that opens up access to free HR advice for small to medium businesses through a monthly HR Clinic right here in the Hutt Valley.

Owners of small to medium businesses will be able to access a range of HR practitioners for a free 15-minute consultation to get advice and guidance on the most pressing HR matter or issue that they may have in their workplace.

Business owners can bring their question about any aspect of the employment relationship with their staff, from recruitment, preparation of position descriptions and employment agreements, and remuneration through to advice on disciplinary processes, performance planning, learning and development, and organisational change.

Business owners can access the HR Clinic once per month. If, due to the issue you bring, you require more time to resolve your query than is available in the HR Clinic, you will be able to negotiate additional support either directly with your allocated HR practitioner or from a list of HR practitioners that will be available on request.

All conversations during the HR Clinic will be confidential between the business owner and their allocated HR practitioner.

There is no charge to attend the HR Clinic, however spaces may be limited depending on demand. Fees will apply to any additional support that you require beyond your allocated time slot. These will be negotiated between you and the HR practitioner of your choice.

To access this advice, business owners can register by email to tony@mckoneconsultancy.com to be allocated a 15-minute time slot between 9am and 10.30am at the HR Clinic.

Register by providing your name, business name, email address and contact phone number, along with an indication of the type of query or issue that you have. You will be allocated time with an HR practitioner best matched to the question you have.

Attendees will also be provided with information on the benefits of being a member of the Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce and the HR Institute of New Zealand.
